Rehabilitation Clinic
In 2003 Christa A. Gallagher, DVM earned her CCRP and opened the Arbor Creek Animal Wellness and Rehabilitation Clinic, P.A. Our holistic approach to rehab will guide your dog into lifelong health and wellness. In the physical sense we strive to restore, improve and enhance your dog’s biomechanics using advanced principles of physical medicine. Emotionally we will nurture your dog by using positive motivation in a compassionate and natural environment.
Our facility is located on five acres of beautifully wooded grounds with a half acre enclosed grassy dog yard. Large picture windows throughout the facility give expansive views of the wooded grounds and provide a natural light and cheery atmosphere. The aqua therapy room, which houses our underwater treadmill and swim tank can be viewed from our lobby. We have a 1000 square foot indoor exercise room with a non-concussive rubber matted floor.

- manual therapy including:
- therapeutic massage
- joint mobilization
- passive range of motion
Referral
Patients are accepted upon referral from a primary veterinarian or veterinary specialist. Upon request, our rehab professionals will initiate referral consultations with your veterinarian. The first visit will consist of a comprehensive physical an orthopedic/neurological examination. Physical rehab goals will be discussed and a customized treatment protocol will be established to correct primary deficits and secondary problems. We provide both inpatient and outpatient rehab services. At the time of discharge a thorough home exercise program will be provided so that you will feel confident in continuing the recovery process at home.
